Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement the company's quality vision, strategy, and objectives in alignment with business goals.
- Lead the development and ongoing improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) across all functions.
- Serve as the primary interface for quality with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee all quality-related functions including quality assurance, quality control, inspection, and testing for stamping, machining, and surface treatment operations.
- Drive the effective deployment of quality principles and tools such as Six-sigma, Failure analysis methods, continuous improvement and lean principles.
- Develop, monitor, and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs), such as defect rates, scrap, rework, cost of quality, and customer complaints.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop quality teams to foster technical excellence and a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Engineering, Production, Procurement, Maintenance) to ensure quality objectives are integrated into all operations.
- Conduct management reviews and communicate quality performance to senior leadership.
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Implement effective inspection and audit processes for incoming materials, in-process, and finished goods, ensuring traceability and compliance at every stage.
- Manage internal and external audits, non-conformance investigations, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and facilitate root-cause analysis using structured problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, Six Sigma).
- Ensure all operations comply with customer and legal standards regarding quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's/master's in mechanical, Production, or Metallurgical Engineering
- Experience - 15+ Years
- Preferred experience: Precision manufacturing, high volume mass production industry; Strong knowledge of stamping, machining, and surface treatment processes, quality tools, and methodologies (SPC, CAPA, FMEA, PPAP)
