Role Overview:
AGL - Hakuhodo is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Digital Sales Manager to join our team. This role will be pivotal in driving business growth by leveraging our cutting-edge technology solutions and fostering strong relationships with clients across various industry segments. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of digital marketing and technology, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets within a consultative sales environment. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing tailored solutions, and leading the sales process from initial engagement to successful closure.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management & Business Development:
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across diverse industry segments.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' business processes, challenges, and strategic objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations on how AGL - Hakuhodo's technology solutions can drive their business outcomes.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and qualify leads, manage the sales pipeline, and accurately forecast sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., technology, marketing) to develop compelling proposals and presentations that address client needs.
- Navigate complex sales cycles and effectively close deals.
Industry & Technology Expertise:
- Maintain a strong and current understanding of different industry segments and their evolving business processes.
- Develop a keen interest in emerging technologies and their potential applications to solve business challenges and drive innovation for clients.
- Articulate the value proposition of AGL - Hakuhodo's technology solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
Commercial & Business Acumen:
- Demonstrate strong commercial and business acumen, understanding the financial implications of sales activities and client engagements.
- Develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:
- Effectively manage and collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives, technical teams, and marketing personnel.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders.
Presentation & Communication:
- Produce and deliver powerful and persuasive presentations to clients and internal audiences, effectively communicating the value of AGL - Hakuhodo's offerings.
- Clearly and concisely communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
Teamwork & Leadership:
- Operate as a proven team player, actively collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client solutions.
- Potentially mentor and guide junior sales team members (depending on team structure).
Organization & Self-Management:
- Effectively multitask and prioritize workload to meet critical timelines and sales targets.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Customer Focus:
- Maintain a strong customer-centric approach, ensuring client satisfaction and building long-term partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business administration, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales management, preferably within the
digital marketing, technology solutions, or related industries.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong experience in managing and building relationships with diverse stakeholders at various
organizational levels.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing principles, technologies, and trends.
- Demonstrated experience in a consultative sales approach.
