Action Against Hunger - Partnerships Manager

Under the guidance of the Director and as part of a small team based in Mumbai, the individual will be responsible for day-to-day management of the organizations existing partnerships; helping to ensure that organizational fundraising targets are achieved.

This will include providing outstanding account management and expanding the pipeline to support organisations long-term fund-raising strategy.

The role includes, but is not limited to:.

- Managing existing corporate partnerships, providing regular MIS and reports, and building a strong relationship with them.

- Identify prospective donors, manage existing database and maintain an active pipeline of prospective donors.

- Acquiring new partnerships for funding and increase the organisation's resources as per targets set.

- Writing concept notes, proposals, budgets and reports.

- Manage fundraising database and tracking systems.

- Attending conferences, CSR summits and relevant events for networking.

- Research various tenders and grants being floated by organizations and coordinate submission of proposals.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

External: Donors, Corporates, Foundations, HNI and other key stakeholders.

Internal: Programs, MEAL, Communications and Finance.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

We are looking for a spirited, self-motivated and committed individual, who brings to the table a combination of the right skills and passion.

You would fit the bill, if:.

- 5-7 years' experience in fundraising within the development sector in India.

- Experience working with international NGOs, foundations, corporations, and governments.

- Knowledge of fundraising principles, practices, and regulations.

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy.

- Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and colleagues.

- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

- Integrity: High level of integrity and transparency in all interactions, including donor relationships and financial management.

- Results-Oriented: Ability to work in a target-based environment and achieve annual fundraising targets.

- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling fundraising proposals and reports.
