Job Title:- AVP - Corporate Tax (UAE).

Experience:- 5-7 years post-qualification (CA).

Location:- Gurgaon.

About the Role:

- Lead and manage the corporate tax department to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality tax service delivery across all clients.

- Drive tax efficiency initiatives, oversee monthly computations, annual compliances, and client engagements within the UAE Corporate Tax framework.

- Foster a process-driven, client-focused environment while mentoring the team and collaborating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and finalize monthly corporate tax computations post-scrutiny prepared by managers and teams.

- Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax laws, including DTAA provisions and international transaction considerations.

- Manage Deferred Tax Assets (DTA) and Deferred Tax Liabilities (DTL) calculations.

Conduct tax planning and research by:

- Researching tax issues and new regulations to keep the company informed of potential impacts.

- Assisting in tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities and support business decisions.

- Monitoring changes in tax laws and advising management on their implications.

- Analyze key financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) to identify tax implications related to reporting and compliance.

- Apply sound accounting principles relevant to tax, including GAAP/IFRS and deferred tax accounting.

- Coordinate with clients, their finance departments, and internal teams to collect data and ensure timely follow-ups.

- Prepare, maintain, and enforce SOPs for the tax team.

- Conduct training sessions for onboarding new clients and educating the team.

- Provide regular tax updates and reports to CFOs, FCs, and senior management.

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of tax professionals to meet deadlines and quality standards.

- Respond promptly to Federal Tax Authority (FTA) clarifications, notices, and audits.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance compliance efficiency and accuracy.

- Act as the escalation point for complex tax compliance issues.

- Drive tax efficiency strategies and ensure optimum tax outcomes for clients.

What We're Looking For:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-7 years post-qualification experience in corporate tax compliance.

- Strong understanding of UAE Corporate Tax, DTAA, and international tax concepts.

- Expertise in tax planning and research.

- Solid knowledge of financial statement analysis.

- Sound grasp of accounting principles related to tax.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

- Proficient in MS Excel and tax compliance software/tools.

- Detail-oriented, proactive, and deadline-driven.
