Accounts Manager - CA

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced finance professional with 5+ years of experience to oversee the complete accounting function, ensure statutory compliance, and support strategic business decisions through accurate financial reporting and analysis.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Indian Accounting Standards, GST, Income Tax laws, and experience with ERP systems, alongside excellent leadership and analytical skills.

Principal Accountabilities:

- Supervise all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.

- Ensure timely and accurate closing of books and preparation of financial statements.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings.

- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, performing variance analysis to guide business decisions.

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits.

- Monitor cash flow and manage working capital efficiently.

- Implement and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.

- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and government authorities for smooth financial operations.

- Mentor and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals.

- Drive system improvements including ERP implementation or upgrades, if applicable.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and performance tracking.

Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification mandatory.

- 5+ years of progressive experience in core accounting and finance roles.

- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, Income Tax laws, and regulatory compliance.

- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally ERP.

- Proven track record of handling audits and finalization of accounts.

- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.
