Mandatory Requirements

- Experience in GL consolidation: minimum 5 years.

- S/4HANA implementation: minimum 2 years.

- General Ledger experience: minimum 5 years.

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or ICWA (mandatory).

- Strong understanding of US GAAP and international accounting standards.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Chartered Accountant with deep expertise in GL consolidation, Shared Platform Accounting (SPA), and SAP S/4HANA implementations.

The successful candidate will combine domain knowledge of GL processes and financial close with practical experience in S/4HANA transformation projects to support accurate, compliant financial reporting across multiple entities and geographies.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support SPA GL consolidation activities across multiple entities and geographies.

- Drive and contribute to SAP S/4HANA implementation projects focused on Finance (GL and consolidation).

- Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.

- Collaborate with IT, Finance, and external consultants to align system capabilities with business requirements.

- Design and optimize GL processes and controls within the S/4HANA environment.

- Provide guidance on chart of accounts, intercompany eliminations, and financial close processes.

- Conduct gap analyses, prepare functional specifications, and support testing and deployment.

- Monitor and resolve issues related to data integrity, system configuration, and reporting accuracy.

Required Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent certification (mandatory).

- Minimum 5 years' experience in GL consolidation and financial reporting.

- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, especially Finance and GL modules.

- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting standards.

- Proven track record in SAP implementation or migration projects.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
