Accountant for a leading fashion label known for its creativity, craftsmanship, and contemporary designs. We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our finance team and support day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, knowledge of financial principles, and experience in accounting within the fashion or retail industry. Key Responsibilities - Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable. - Prepare invoices, process payments, and reconcile bank statements. - Assist in preparing financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements. - Handle GST, TDS, and other tax-related compliance and filings. - Support payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement. - Assist in inventory accounting and cost management. - Manage petty cash transactions and expense tracking. - Work closely with external auditors and support financial audits. - Ensure compliance with accounting policies, financial regulations, and company policies. - Assist in budgeting and forecasting for financial planning. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the fashion, retail, or luxury industry. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations. - Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or other accounting software. - Experience with GST, TDS, and other tax compliances. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
