Job Description: Technical Project Manager

Position Overview:

- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.

- This role requires exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end management of technical projects, including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.

- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets while identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies.

- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, designers, and external vendors.

- Ensure alignment between technical teams and business objectives by effectively communicating project expectations to stakeholders.

- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.

- Identify and resolve project challenges or roadblocks in a timely manner to maintain project momentum.

- Implement best practices in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to improve efficiency and quality.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovative solutions within projects.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or in a similar role managing complex technical projects.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and project management frameworks.

- Technical proficiency to effectively communicate with development teams and understand technical challenges.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder management.

- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.

- Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies is a plus.
