Position: Senior Manager PMO

Location: Abbott EPD India

Department: EPD India Transformation Office

Role Summary

The Senior Manager PMO will lead cross-functional transformation initiatives across Abbott EPD India and its affiliates, collaborating with key functions including Commercial, Manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, and Regulatory. This role is responsible for designing, executing, and delivering high-impact transformation projects that drive business performance, strengthen capabilities, and enable sustainable growth.

Core Job Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across Abbott EPD India and its affiliates on transformation projects, engaging stakeholders from commercial, manufacturing, R&D, supply chain, HR, finance, and regulatory functions.

- Conduct detailed design of transformation initiatives by incorporating industry best practices, competitive benchmarking, and insights from internal and external sources to ensure effective solutions.

- Own end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely delivery of all transformation initiatives, actively resolving problems, de-bottlenecking issues, and applying structured problem-solving approaches.

- Influence and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to drive alignment, adoption of changes, and sustained implementation of project recommendations.

- Provide thought leadership and support in influencing the senior leadership team, using sound logic, data-driven insights, and clear articulation of business benefits to guide decision-making and change management.

- Escalate critical issues effectively with well-defined mitigating actions to project sponsors, owners, and senior leadership, ensuring visibility and prompt resolution.

- Support the VP, EPD India in benchmarking the organization against competitive shifts, industry trends, and business performance metrics, contributing to the identification of future transformation opportunities.

- Proactively identify new transformation initiatives aligned with short and long-term business priorities of EPD India, supporting strategic planning and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

- Proven experience (10+ years) in managing large-scale transformation projects in a matrix organization, ideally in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing industry.

- Strong expertise in cross-functional stakeholder management, project management, business process improvement, and change management.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.

- Advanced knowledge of transformation methodologies, project management tools, and performance measurement frameworks.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with multiple competing priorities.
