Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented National Sales Manager to lead and drive our pan-India sales strategy. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, regional market experience (including neighboring sub-continent markets), and the ability to build and manage high-performing sales teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a robust sales roadmap while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Channel Partner Management:

- Maintain high visibility and strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals and strategic accounts across India.

- Onboard, manage, and nurture channel partners to drive business growth and market coverage.

- Leverage experience in international sub-continent markets (Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan) to expand regional presence.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

- Define and implement overall territory strategy based on data insights and market trends.

- Ensure timely execution of sales cadence and structured sales processes.

- Develop, approve, and execute area-wise sales objectives and pricing policies.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of Sales Managers across multiple zones.

- Set clear targets, provide guidance, and conduct performance evaluations to drive accountability.

- Identify training needs and enhance product knowledge and selling capabilities across the team.

Planning & Budgeting:

- Create accurate and achievable sales forecasts in alignment with organizational goals.

- Plan and manage budgets, monitor performance vs. targets, and ensure optimal resource allocation.

- Track and manage sales expenses, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Coordinate with Marketing, Product, and HR teams to support product launches, promotions, and manpower planning.

- Provide structured feedback to the Marketing and Product Management Teams for continuous improvement.

Compliance & EHS Adherence:

- Promote and ensure compliance with company sales policies and standard operating procedures.

- Advocate and enforce adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines and communicate EHS commitment annually to all team members.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field.

- 12+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in healthcare/pharma/medical sectors.

- Proven experience in managing large teams and multi-zone sales operations.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and data-driven decision-making skills.

- Strong understanding of sub-continent market dynamics (Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan) preferred.

- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
