Job Title : Marketing Manager Diabetes Supremus

Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing Manager Diabetes Supremus to lead marketing strategy, drive therapy growth, and establish Abbott as a leader in the diabetes care segment. This is a high-impact role responsible for planning and executing strategic initiatives to enhance market share, manage brand positioning, and drive product innovations across diabetes therapy.


Key Responsibilities:


1.Therapy Growth and Market Share


- Deliver an EI > 100 for the therapy and increase Abbotts market share in the diabetes segment.


- Achieve Therapy Plan Sales and Plan Margin targets.


- Ensure successful delivery of New Product Introduction (NPI) targets both in terms of number of products launched and incremental sales contribution.


Driving Therapy Leadership


- Conduct periodic research to identify emerging short- and long-term trends in diabetes therapy.


- Develop an annual therapy plan covering strategic objectives and execution roadmap.


- Identify and conceptualize new product opportunities and product innovations (e.g., Life Cycle Management, packaging solutions).


- Design and implement initiatives that create scientific differentiation for Abbott in diabetes care.


- Design patient outreach programs focused on awareness, diagnosis, treatment, and compliance.


- Identify and explore new markets and channels to accelerate therapy growth.


Brand Portfolio Management


- Manage marketing investments across multiple brands within the diabetes therapy.


- Evaluate Marketing ROI for activities and brands; adjust strategy based on performance.


- Define pricing strategies for brands and SKUs to maximize market competitiveness and profitability.


Job Specifications


Education:


- Graduate in Science / Pharmacy.


- MBA / PGDBA in Sales and Marketing from a reputed/top-tier B-School.


Experience:


- Minimum 7 years of brand management experience (preferably in an MNC).


- At least 2 years of Pharma experience as Brand Manager or Sr. Brand Manager.


- Exposure to new product launches, Key Account Management (KAM), and working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) is preferred.


- Experience in managing sales is an added advantage.

- Strong communication skills verbal and written.


- In-depth functional and technical knowledge of diabetes therapy and other related therapies.


- Creative, innovative mindset with a strong results orientation.


- Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead projects.


- Strong analytical skills and sound financial acumen.


- Strategic thinking with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.


- Effective planning and organizing skills for both short-term and long-term goals.


- Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
