Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Location: Hyderabad
Main Purpose of the Role
The Regional Sales Manager will lead and supervise a team of two or more professionals, acting as the first-level manager for a work group that may include professionals, technical, and/or administrative staff. The role focuses on mentoring, coaching, and coordinating daily activities to drive performance. While the role does not typically include budget ownership or hiring/firing authority, it plays a key role in operational execution and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team to achieve regional sales targets and performance objectives.
- Promote and sell the organization's products across multiple or non-specific channels within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals including specialists, physicians, pharmacies, and distributors.
- Ensure effective execution of sales strategies and campaigns.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to recommend improvements and adjustments in sales strategies.
- Report on regional sales performance, opportunities, and challenges to senior management.
- Support team training and development to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent (typically 13 years of formal education).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG sector.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Hyderabad.
