Role Overview

The Group brand manager Manager will be responsible for driving the growth and market performance of assigned products within the healthcare/nutrition portfolio.

This role involves leading product marketing initiatives across development, pricing, launch, campaigns (ATL/BTL), sales performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration.

The position requires a strategic mindset with strong execution capability in both consumer and ethical/HCP marketing within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Campaign Management

- Oversee product development, design localization, pricing, and new product launches.

- Plan and execute consumer and trade campaigns (ATL & BTL) to maximize visibility and adoption.

- Monitor sales and market share performance, adapting strategies to ensure growth targets are met.

Market & Consumer Insights

- Utilize CRM and digital tools to identify market opportunities and consumer trends.

- Conduct ongoing market research, competitor analysis, and performance evaluation to inform marketing strategies.

Strategy & Execution

- Develop and execute marketing objectives and strategies for the assigned product portfolio.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, medical, regulatory, training, market research, finance, logistics, and external agencies to ensure timely and effective execution of initiatives.

Sales & Budget Management

- Prepare monthly sales forecasts and quarterly marketing budgets.

- Track sales volume, revenue, and costs against forecasts, and implement corrective actions where required.

Training & Enablement

- Support product training programs and develop detailing materials for sales teams.

- Equip consumer and trade representatives with tools to effectively deliver product messaging.

Product Innovation & Feedback

- Monitor product performance and gather customer/market feedback.

- Generate new product ideas, identify required feature modifications, and coordinate implementation.

Compliance

- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and Abbotts Code of Ethics.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors degree in Business/Marketing, Mass Communication, Nutrition/Dietetics, or related scientific field.

- MBA or advanced qualification in Marketing/Business Management is an advantage.

- 3-5 years experience in nutrition, healthcare, or FMCG marketing (preferably with pharmacy as a key channel).

- Exposure to ethical/HCP marketing is an advantage.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a regulated environment.

- Excellent command of English (written and oral); proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is a plus.
