Role Overview:

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets across assigned territories, ensuring effective implementation of company strategies, launching and growing international brands, and leading a team of Territory Business Managers (TBMs) to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Achieve monthly sales targets territory-wise and brand-wise.

- Ensure effective implementation of company strategies in the marketplace.

- Successfully launch and nurture international brands in assigned markets.

- Train, mentor, and develop TBMs to enhance their skills and competencies.

- Profile towns and customers to improve productivity and optimize territory performance.

- Maintain and strengthen customer relationships to enhance prescription share.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide strategic inputs for business growth.

Required Qualifications: B.Pharm / M.Pharm degree (mandatory).

Required Experience:

- 4-5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.

- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

- Strong people management and coaching skills.

Skills & Competencies:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical, planning, and execution abilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Market intelligence and competitor analysis skills.
