Job Title: Area Business Manager Restora

Main Purpose of Role:
The Area Business Manager (ABM) Restora will be responsible for driving sales, market share, and business growth for Abbotts Restora range of nutritional products in the assigned territory. This role involves leading and managing a team of Territory Business Executives, implementing regional sales strategies, engaging healthcare professionals, and ensuring achievement of set targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Achieve or exceed sales targets for the assigned territory through effective implementation of strategic sales plans.
Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Territory Business Executives. Ensure effective field coaching, performance reviews, and developmental plans.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, distributors, chemists, and stockists.
Market Intelligence & Analysis:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Share actionable insights with regional and national teams to support planning and decision-making.
Brand Promotion:
- Drive awareness and adoption of the Restora brand through scientific product detailing, CMEs, promotional campaigns, and in-clinic activities.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to Abbotts compliance standards, ethical guidelines, and reporting norms. Maintain timely and accurate sales records, call reports, and market feedback.
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate in Science/Pharmacy/Nutrition. MBA in Marketing is a plus.
- 5-7 years of experience in pharma or nutrition sales with at least 2 years in a front-line management role.
- Prior experience in managing Siliguri or North Bengal territory is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Good understanding of the pharma/nutrition market and customer dynamics
- Proficiency in data analysis and use of CRM/sales tools
- High levels of initiative, integrity, and customer orientation
