Position Summary:


The Associate Manager Corporate Communications will play a key role in strengthening the 7-Eleven Global Solution Centers (GSC's) brand internally and externally through effective communications.
This position will serve as a key Communications Business Partner, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring effective communication across various channels.


The ideal candidate should possess a strong blend of strategic thinking, program management, creative execution, and meticulous attention to detail.


As an individual contributor, this role offers significant growth potential for a high-performing individual.



Key Responsibilities:


Internal Communications (70%):


Communications Business Partner:


- Serve as the primary communications point of contact for key internal groups, including HR, IT, Operations, Facilities and Admin, and various tech and business teams.


- Understand business priorities and translate them into effective communication strategies.


Internal Communications Strategy & Execution:


- Develop and execute comprehensive internal communication plans.


- Manage internal communication channels (e.g., email, internal newsletters, digital platforms).


- Streamline communication processes to enhance efficiency.


- Track and measure the impact of communication initiatives, providing data-driven insights.


Leadership Communications:


- Create compelling leadership communications, including video scripts and presentations (PPTs) and talk points.


- Develop and manage content for town halls, all-hands meetings, and other internal events.


Employee Engagement:


- Manage and support communications for Employee Business Resource Groups (EBRGs) and the DEI committee.


- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through effective communication and help those communities thrive.



External Communications (30%):


Candidate Experience Enhancement:


- Develop and implement strategic employer branding initiatives to elevate the overall candidate experience.


- Create and manage the candidate newsletter, delivering engaging and informative content.


- Support Tech Meetups and other recruitment/talent branding events to attract and engage top talent.


- Develop and maintain compelling recruitment collaterals, ensuring brand consistency.


- Promote and manage employee referral programs to expand the talent pipeline.


- Provide communication and branding support for hiring drives and recruitment campaigns.


Podcast Management:


- Own end-to-end video podcast lifecycle, encompassing strategic planning, content development, production, and distribution.


- Collaborate with the design team to create compelling podcast content that elevates the 7-Eleven GSC brand.


- Partner with the social media team on distribution strategies and track podcast performance metrics, providing data-driven insights to optimize reach and engagement.



Required Skills and Qualifications:


- Bachelors or post-grads degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.


- Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate communications or agency supporting b2b or GCC brands, with a focus on internal and external communications.


- Past GCC experience will be an added advantage.


- Proven experience in developing and executing communication strategies.


- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with exceptional attention to detail.


- Experience in developing leadership communications, including email messages, video scripts, and presentations.


- Proficiency in managing internal communication channels and toolsfrom strategy to execution.


- Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple varied projects and events simultaneously.


- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.


- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into effective communication strategies.


- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


- Experience with long forms of content, such as internal magazines, and short forms of content, such as newsletters, project reports, event debriefs, etc., is key.
