Open Position -Senior Product and Portfolio Analyst
Present Role This role can be classified between two closely related tasks of managing client portfolio analytics of the firm and, parallelly, working on the wealth product curation and maintenance plus review.
Key Aspects of the Role:
Wealth Product Management
- Create, curate, review, and maintain a wide array of wealth products including mutual funds, ETFs (global and Indian), PMS, AIFs, and startup investments.
- Evaluate product features, perform risk/reward analysis, and ensure alignment with client portfolio objectives.
- Identify and onboard new products through tie-ups; present findings to the Investment Committee.
- Explore and adapt global wealth products for Indian clients through international exposure.
Portfolio Review & Reporting
- Conduct regular reviews of client portfolios with inputs from the CIO and Relationship teams.
- Prepare detailed performance reports and maintain updated records across all investment products.
Market & Regulatory Research
- Generate monthly market outlook reports and timely updates on major economic developments (budget, RBI policy, Fed rate hikes, etc.).
- Analyze global economic trends and international regulatory shifts to inform strategic client decisions.
- Contribute articles and insights for client communication and media coverage.
Fund Manager & Product Partner Interaction
- Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and global fund managers.
- Ensure regular meetings and training with product partners and RMs.
- Leverage global networks (Dubai, Singapore, etc.) for access to exclusive investment opportunities.
Tool & Data Management
- Maintain and upgrade investment analysis tools (Morningstar, ACE, proprietary platforms).
- Use Excel (including macros and VBA) to model financial scenarios and streamline reporting.
Cross-Border & Risk Management
- Continuously evaluate cross-border investment risks including geopolitical, currency, and regulatory aspects.
- Customize international portfolios based on individual client goals and preferences.
Candidate Skills & Qualifications
- CA, CFA, or Postgraduate degree (PG/PGDM) in Finance, Accountancy, Commerce, Business Management, Economics, Capital Markets, Banking, or Insurance.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in financial advice, wealth products, or portfolio management.
- NISM-Series-X-A (Level 1) and X-B (Level 2) certifications.
- Prior experience using tools like Morningstar, ACE.
- Strong Excel skills (macros/VBA).
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to model business ideas in Excel and understand proprietary tools.
- Strong networking in the Indian wealth industry and globally.
- High learnability and self-driven attitude.
