Position Overview:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of oncology clinics and day-care centers, from planning and launch to ongoing operations.

The role involves building strong relationships with doctors, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, optimizing resource utilization, and enhancing patient satisfaction through a seamless care journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinics / Daycare Centres Set-up and Launch:

- Lead planning, execution, and successful launch of new oncology clinics/day-care centers.

- Oversee infrastructure readiness, facility design, medical equipment procurement, and licensing requirements.

- Collaborate with HR to recruit and onboard clinical and non-clinical staff.

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory standards and operational excellence from day one.

Operations Management:

- Oversee daily operations across clinics, ensuring smooth workflows and optimal resource utilization.

- Develop, implement, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality, safety, and consistency of service delivery.

- Track operational KPIs, financial performance, and revenue targets; initiate corrective actions where necessary.

- Lead digital transformation initiatives to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Doctor Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with oncologists, surgeons, and healthcare providers.

- Act as a liaison between doctors, clinical staff, and administrative teams to ensure aligned objectives.

- Partner with medical teams to support patient care, drive referral networks, and enable clinic growth.

Patient Experience & Journey Management:

- Design and oversee a superior patient journey across touchpoints-from appointment booking to treatment follow-ups.

- Implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and retention.

- Proactively address patient grievances, ensuring empathy-driven resolutions and continuous improvement.

- Promote a culture of compassion, transparency, and patient-centric care.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Hospital Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Experience: 3-6 years in hospital management, healthcare operations, or clinical facility administration.

- Prior experience in clinic/hospital set-up or expansion projects is highly desirable.

- Proven track record in oncology or specialty healthcare operations is a strong plus.

Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of hospital/clinic operations, clinical workflows, and healthcare compliance.

- Proficiency in healthcare digital systems (EMR/EHR, HIS, CRM).

- Strong financial and P&L management skills.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

- Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.

- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
